Tubing, Capture the Flag in the snow, archery tag, broomball, crafts, worship - it was a jam packed weekend! We took 6 middle schoolers and 2 leaders (and a baby) to White Out! We spent the weekend learning more about how to be on mission for God through our words and actions. We had heartfelt worship time including fun dances, as well as meaningful small group discussion times.
When we were not in chapel, we were having a blast in the snow! Our group won “most creative skit” and we also won the “lip sync battle”!
All of our kids worked on memorizing a few great Bible verses, and two of our kids completed the memory verse challenge - in which they had to memorize seven specific passages. As a reward, they got to pie a leader. Thankfully, the whip cream was pretty tasty, I didn’t mind it one bit!!
We had so much fun that everyone was extra tired by the end of the weekend! It might take me till next year to recover from running around like I was in middle school again, but it was well worth it! I'm already looking forward to next year’s camp!
