Epic family and friends gathered on Sunday October 6, 2024 for our annual Chili Cook-Off event. We were blessed with a beautiful fall day complete with sunshine, warm breezes, and tasty chili served by our resident chili chefs!
Nine chili chefs presented their exceptional chili dishes for the dozens of chili-eaters to taste. Hot dogs came off the grill providing some an opportunity for a chili dog. Cake was served in celebration of confirmation and Epic’s newest members. It was a wonderful time to enjoy the food, sunshine and especially the fellowship with one another.
After all the ballots were turned in and tallied, the Trophy winner was announced. It was a close contest as there was a tie for first place and a three-way tie for third place!
Congratulation to our co-winners, first-time entrants Mike Fox and Lisa Skierski, and a BIG thank you to all our chili chefs and volunteers who made this event possible.
